I am licensed by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and am a member as well as hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I am also a member of the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA). I moved to Houston, TX shortly after graduation and worked at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD as a Speech Language Pathologist in the schools for about 15 years. I have also worked in the private practice sector providing individual services for about 12 years. I have experience working with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, hearing impairment, cerebral palsy, ADD/ADHD, and other physical, neurological, and cognitive impairments. I utilize individual, group, and play-based therapy models when working with toddlers, preschool children, school-aged children, and adults. I am a founder and owner of Speech Monster where I hope to touch the lives of more individuals with communication needs.
